Hi! I’m Ky. Thanks for being here -

After about 12 years in the military, a few moves, a few deployments, growing my little family, and completing all of the training and experience necessary for my new field, in January 2023, I established Sunny Doula Care LLC. I have loved the opportunity to transition some of my passions and my expertise into a way to support you!

I am a Pregnancy Loss Doula (Miscarriage Doula), a Kangaroula, End of Life Doula (Death Doula), and Postpartum Doula. In addition, I am trained in bereavement care, and am trained as a Newborn Care Specialist, and am building my 1,000 contact hours with families and their newborns, in order to be eligible to apply for official certification.

I know you hear advice, personal preferences, and opinions every day and that is absolutely not my job in any of the roles listed above. My goal is to provide space for you, to provide evidence based and up-to-date information, for you to feel supported, and ultimately, for you to feel you have the knowledge and confidence to make the decisions that best support your family.
